Why We Never Compromise on Your Comfort — And How a European Road Trip Changed Everything The Story Behind Reset and Renew Travel

For over 30 years, my career was built on one simple passion: sales and client service. I loved taking care of people, listening to their stories, and making sure they got exactly what they needed.

But a few years ago, my husband took me on a Mediterranean cruise, followed by a wild five-week driving trip across Europe—and my entire world shifted.

We visited 16 countries and collected a lifetime of memories. We also collected a few near-disasters.

We got completely lost in Germany and stumbled into a spectacular tavern where nobody spoke a word of English. In Switzerland, our GPS sent us straight up a treacherous, snow-covered mountain track. We actually started sliding backward! (Thank goodness we hadn't gone very far up.)

Then there was Rome. The rental company had questioned us when we insisted on a large SUV. We quickly found out why when our side mirrors started scraping the ancient, impossibly narrow stone alleyways!

The Lightbulb Moment in Austria

My turning point came at a breakfast buffet in Austria. I sat gazing out at rolling green hills and picture-perfect alpine chalets, trying to figure out what the local pastries were.

I took a bite of a kirschtaler—a warm, heavenly cherry streusel—and time just stopped. I looked at the waitress and asked, "Do you eat like this every single day?"

She nodded and smiled.

I turned to my husband and said, "Why on earth are we living in the United States when they have all this wonderful stuff over here?" He laughed, but I was completely hooked.

Lessons From the Road: Why Logistics Matter

That trip taught me two major lessons:

The world is meant to be explored. I want to experience Europe and the world as often as possible (and maybe even move there someday!).

Vacations shouldn't be about survival. Getting lost makes a funny story later, but you shouldn't have to white-knuckle an oversized vehicle down a Roman alley or slide down a snowy Swiss mountain because of bad logistics.

That's why I founded Reset and Renew Travel—to combine my 30 years of customer service expertise with my passion for seamless, high-end exploration. We don't chase the cheapest deals, and we don't crowd you onto massive tour buses. We focus on ultimate comfort, premium value, and flawless execution.

We handle every detail—from hand-picked 5-star boutique hotels to private local drivers and luxury cruises—so you can enjoy a truly relaxing, hassle-free vacation.
